Welcome to my first blog post
I’d like to introduce myself – I’m Helen Ingham, owner of Bustles and Bows Bridal in Hastings, East Sussex.
We are a full service specialist bridal boutique in Hastings, East Sussex. Ours is very much a family business with my husband and 3 grown up children helping out whenever I need them to.
In store full time it’s myself and my colleague Claire, so we are able to get to know all our brides personally. We offer a very personal service from the moment we first meet our brides, until the day they come along to collect the dress ready for the big day. There is a workroom on the premises and we alter and fit every bride who buys a dress through our store ourselves. (we are very proud of the fact that we can offer this service and this is one of the many reasons why brides choose us over other stores)
I opened my store in Hastings in 1997 and over the years have helped hundreds of brides and their bridal parties on their dress journeys and as such have many, many interesting stories to share with you all. Over the coming months I plan to writing about all things bridal. Sharing our news about offers and events we have coming up. Featuring some of our real brides wedding stories and sharing some amazing collaborations/photoshoots with other suppliers. There will be informative how-to posts showing things such as how to shop for your dress/how to pack for your wedding abroad and many many more. So keep an eye out and I look forward to posting again soon x
